Palmer and Eze also handed debuts as Southgate looks to build towards summer tournament

England manager Gareth Southgate has named a 25-man squad for the Three Lions' upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley. The squad includes some notable inclusions, with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon receiving their first call-ups to the senior team. Ivan Toney has also been handed his first start for England, while there are also debuts for Manchester City's Cole Palmer and Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze. Southgate is likely to use the two pre-tournament friendlies to experiment with his squad and give some of his fringe players a chance to impress. England's final game before Euro 2024 will be against Ukraine at Wembley on June 7. The Three Lions will then begin their Euro 2024 campaign against France on June 11. The squad in full: * Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Nick Pope (Burnley), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) * Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Ben Chilwell (Chelsea), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Conor Coady (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United) * Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Declan Rice (West Ham United), Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton), Mason Mount (Chelsea) * Forwards: Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), Ivan Toney (Brentford)
